How do I prepare salteñas?
Heat oven to 465 degrees
(varies on oven 450 -500 degrees)
Remove the salteña from foil packaging
Place the salteñas on backing sheet a few inches apart
Place in oven and wait for about 17 to 23 minutes until golden
Take the tray from the oven
Let cool for a few minutes
Wrap half of the salteña in napkin
Break off one crusty end
Using spoon, pour out delicious juices little by little as you savor each delicious bite right to the other crust end.
